What is currently happening!

We did not see this one coming.
Two years after my mom.
One year after he SO HAPPILY remarried...
Last Sunday we returned from a brief 4-day holiday to celebrate my 50th together and there were no indications except for dad mentioning, "I can feel my heart is tired." Monday, he had caught a cold. Looking back, his organs began to fail on Thursday night. On Friday, the three of us took him to the doctor in a wheelchair. By 2 a.m. on Sunday, he passed away.

Eendag,
nie lank gelede nie
was daar n Reus... Frikkie Breedt.
Die reus het nie geval nie.
Die reus het wel gegaan lê,
want "ek is baie moeg" het hy gesê.
So moeg was hy
deur 'n trein toe hy net 17 was
met sus en swaer en oom
en laat ons nie skroom
om by te tel sy kinders,
sy seuns wat so jonk huis toe was.
Die Reus was n reuse sukses in Kempton Park
by Stilbaai se hawe
-
Sy gety het gedraai
sy plekkie leeg
maar 5am Kempton Park karavaan bid
en later Stilbaai hawe sit
sal nou 'n nuwe gety laat bly inkom
Hy wen elke keer. Pa is nou by Hom.
Wonderful invitation we had at a Primary School.
We had a wonderful opportunity when we were invited to a Primary School to talk about our trip to Africa. We shared how God continues to perform miracles and loves people. Towards the end, the focus of the speech unexpectedly shifted to forgiveness, and I strongly felt that God wanted to communicate this message. One child in the front shouted back, "No, I will not forgive my sister." I was taken aback and reminded once more that God's kindness leads us to repentance. Without experiencing God's kindness, forgiving others can be challenging... and many of these kids come from very broken families. They do not have a parent modeling deep forgiveness.
We are ambassadors of the Kingdom where we do forgive. Praise God that He was so kind to visit the school!
The third image shows the new box for a school that a teacher requested. She expressed her concern that children today are no longer taught the Bible at home.

We've heard that the flowers in Namakwaland will be stunning this year, and we can already see the signs here in Stilbaai. Flowers are everywhere.
Today, my "URstory Mule" from Stellenbosch will be transporting 5 boxes to Nepal and 5 to India. Another mule is heading to Malawi, and we hope that my contact in Eswatini will find a machine to cut boxes for the eastern side of Africa.
Meanwhile, my brother Jacques is helping me get back in shape. Some choices in life simply have to be made!
CURRENTLY - We are finalising 11 different boxes for different regions of the world. This includes the following
W15 ORE - Outreach (small travel box), Reached nations (includes the cross) western figures.
W16 OUE - Outreach Unreached (no crosses for safety) with western figures
W17 FRE - Full box, Reached nations (cross) Western figures
W18 FUM - Full box, Unreached with Muslim focus (Includes Mosque and Muslim figures)
W19 FUHb - Full box, Unreached for Hindu/Buddhist
W20 OUM - Outreach Unreached Muslim
W21 OUHb - Outreach Unreached Hindu/Buddhist
W22 FRA - Full box, reached for Africa
W23 ORA - Outreach Reached Africa
W25 ORMA - Outreach Reached Muslim Africa
W26 FREK - Big Full box, Reached, Western Figures, Kids Sundayschool
This process is lengthy, spanning hours and days, but it will ultimately benefit various groups more effectively.
Every box contains a book that provides instructions on using the figures, along with a 52-week program designed to systematically read through the Bible with children.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING ME
Thank you for your ongoing monthly support.
I am also going ahead to build the new steps outside and getting the new classroom ready. I did not as of yet receive enough donations for this but I do trust it will all come in.
The prices of wood has also gone up! I have been sponsoring 90% of the boxes going out. In reality it is YOU that paid for it. THANK YOU.
Scroll down to the very bottom of the page to see where you can sow into URstory or to me personally seeing that I do not receive a salary :-)
TRANSLATION OF THE FUNERAL POEM.
Once upon a time, not long ago, there was a Giant... Frikkie Breedt. The giant did not fall. The giant did lie down, though, because 'I am very tired,' he said. So tired was he that even his heart wanted to give up, but first it was his lung that collapsed, and as the lung collapsed, his hand found the fold of the robe and Jesus, who proclaimed: 'Welcome home to the house of your Father, and look how your living family is now drawing near!' The heavenly greeting at the gate must have been something that is still so now, and is it also true what he then perceived there—his father Sakkie Breedt and Mother Anna de Beer torn away by a train when he was just 17, with sister and brother-in-law and uncle, and let us not hesitate to count his children, his sons who went home so young. The Giant was a giant success in Kempton Park, but the Lord knew Stilbaai would become the place where He would shape and refine His child until he was ready, but not just him. By refining the Giant, He refined his children so they could maintain themselves as 'Children of the Book'—for Grandma Anna de Beer's mother was a woman of prayer and noted the fact that 'taking the Books' [family devotions] would become a policy of choice. Could she ever have seen how her child's child's son's children would serve Africa and the world? The Giant was not only physically a Giant, but was a Giant Father, a Giant Success whom God in His great grace met almost every morning at Stilbaai's harbor while he faithfully continued interceding in prayer for his family and friends. His tide has turned, his place left empty, but a 5 AM Kempton Park caravan prayer and later sitting at Stilbaai harbor will now allow a new tide to keep coming in through his descendants' continuing presence on shores globally, until God finally comes to gather the whole generation at His Coming—and that was the Giant's Giant Success...
P.S. That little bird in the garden keeps up dad's whistling, so dad is truly still calling me all the time! But Jesus's call won. He wins every time. Dad is with Him now. The comfort is so indescribable... who couldn't make it their life's purpose to inform others of it! And to know that dad was proud of me. That's the best feeling ever.
