HEADS UP BIKERS FOR JESUS
What can be better than celebrating 50 on a mission trip, in Africa, on a motorbike visiting villages, sharing the Gospel, praying over people and trusting God to establish a permanent YWAM station in the beautiful nation of Botswana where we, after so many years still struggle to have a permanent training base! Much prayer is needed for this, and this we will do while going through the nation.
If you would like to join the Africa Motorbike Missions tour
June - July 2026, let me know. When one of my YWAM Elders over Africa heard about my plan, he was very excited and simply said: GO FOR IT.
SandBoxBible trusts that God will lead our wheels to villages with whom we can share the Gospel and Bible stories and like the Apostles of old, encourage the churches along the way.
BOTSWANA STATS
From the 46 people groups living in Botswana, 7 people groups are under 2% evangelical.
22 people groups are under 10% evangelical. Nearly half the population is not Christian. There is much work to do in this nation.
Prayer points
We are currently 3 that will be going (one expert in motorbikes too!)
I still need a bike. Best fit for me seems the Honda 150 XR which is not expensive and will do the job on-road and off-road. (R45,000)
I have my learners and will go and do my final bike test for a permanent license once my Dad's wedding and my 49th birthdays are over.
THE TENT OF MEETING & WORSHIP is finally going up
NEXT WEEK the tent is going up and I am so excited for the Christian events we will be hosting. I have lots of outreach ideas but seeing that the tent will be up next week, my dad and Magda decided to shift their venue to my garden!
So... guess what I am doing! Getting ready for the wedding in my backyard in only 2 weeks from now.
HERMANUS

Hermanus is a coastal town in South Africa 2 hours away from Stilbaai. SandBoxBible was invited to help two missionaries working among the very poor colored community there. We trained 3 leaders and then visited a house where the sick could not go out. We had a lovely time of ministry.
A week later this leader contacted us and asked for more SandBoxBibles.
The one missionary is also a trained counselor and she had 6 emotion stones with her. I used it during the application time, and wow - we hit another level of engagement with the story of the woman at the well. Part of SandBoxBible Application, going from Logos to Rhema, from the Word, to it becoming Bread to eat and fill our hearts, is using emotions - God gave our wonderful mix of emotions for a reason. Having those 6 stones made a visually easy for these woman to engage. I learned something new...
BEACH TENNIS this Saturday @11 on Touchies Beach

I keep on engaging, through SLOWKOU with my Stilbaai Community and this Saturday is time for Beach Tennis! I have met so many people by now that I will not bump into at church and sport is an amazing way to connect with real people, real time, forming real relationships NOT on the phone.
TESTIMONY
I also played Badminton in Cape Town. Understand that I am not good at Badminton - not the level I went to play - but God... he has a way of getting Himself at places you know... using foolish things :-)
There was a man of influence and he was the one that suddenly started talking about spiritual stuff... he is not a Christian. Because of who he was, I simply felt to listen him out but I felt he was a seeker and a true seeker for real truth. I kept sensing to pray for him. I was praying every morning when I kept sensing that God wanted me to share Genesis 1 with him. Part of the challenge from God was: you can pray for him but I also want YOU to actually talk to him about me.
Last Sunday I really felt NOW! I took up courage and I wrote a text to him. Not long after this I received a reply. It was such a nice reply and what it said was "I am fasting today so your message came at a very good time"
