SLOWKOU BBQ - bring your chair, your steak and your swim gear.
25 DECEMBER:
SLOWKOU will be hosting the 2nd Christmas for individuals and couples that have not family to celebrate with.
Under this WONDERFUL tent that God provided in my garden with its 300m lights, we will once again provide food and fun for these individuals coming. Last year we were 30. We expect double this year.

26 December - TOUCH RUGBY -
Our YWAM full-nets outreach is upon us!
This day we will have a table and invite young people to the URstory building to give them info about missions.
27 December "next steps" missions introduction for University Students at the URstory building @10am until...
3PM we will join the EVERYTHING THAT FLOATS - literally 100's of us down the STILBAAI GOUKOU RIVER on anything... that floats!

I never would have guessed that I would start to ride with the CMA - Christian Motorcyclist Association. We had a lovely meeting here in Stilbaai - so watch this space!
We finished our monthly outreaches to the poor community next to Stilbaai and will rejoin next year - but we are EXTENDING...
We met with a wonderful influencer in the Western Cape that is opening doors to URstory to take the sandboxbible to SMALL RURAL FARM SCHOOLS on our motorbikes. Slowly we are finding out about more Stilbaai Christian bike riders... watch this space too...

FRUIT OF 2025 in a nutshell
Pioneered SLOWKOU!
Thursday SandBoxBible study helped Stilbaai women gain a new heart to read Scriptures. A handful of us are nearly done reading through the OT in 3 months. Great excitement each Thursday to hear them report back. We are at a point where trust is growing and they are opening up. So great to be able to facilitate this.
SLOWKOU GAMES night in the last 3 months brought to my door "all sorts" that basically don't go to church. A few of these "all sorts" ended up in the SandPlay Therapy box where they had amazing encounters with Jesus in their past and in their pain. I am so grateful for this tool. We are at a point where baptism is on the table - I pray they say YES to Jesus for this next step.
I am walking a constant discipleship road with a few families all over South Africa through zoom. I had a handful of them visit me in Stilbaai this year to "climb into the sandbox" and God definitely used this tool!!
The Slowkou Bikers group was pioneered and we are currently 6 on the group. We want to get even more involved in outreaches to the poor in 2026.
We hosted a camp (which proved very fruitful but I cannot share details here) and had many events each month. SLOWKOU COMMUNITY CUP was born to and it was wonderful to honor some ladies that really bring change in our community.

Outreaches to communities on farms
Our massive 3 month outreach is around the corner and we are also still fundraising for it. We have all our gear but our fuel, overnight, daily food costs still need to come in. Thanks for praying for us.
Slowkou community events
Hopefully the intercession game for sunday schools will be done before we leave for outreach.
