"Moving" with the times, whatever that means!

We are, in many ways forced to "move with the times" Today I feel how my hand is being forced after I had to update my iMac to use an application.

I went to pray and then felt to write this... letter.

My phone keeps giving me advertisements about "over 40 studying certain programs to stay with the times" Being left behind takes on a new meaning in the world of computers.

Hey, I am not THAT OLD!!

Then it kept saying "update not found" I started to google to find some answers... but I knew what was happening because lately my iMac has been going s.l.o.w.

Buying a new iMac has not even been on my list. Not being able to update is a whole other ball game.

My work at the moment, creating a StopMotion film requires I have a really good system. I was supposed to start filming the PRODICAL SON for the Muslim Makuwa today. It was when I had to create a certain design, needing this program that all went south.

The massive 3D project is still on the board and I cannot go on without updates with the programs we use today.

Yes, this email does make a need known. My iMac is a 2017. It's like 90 in human years. They will not trade it in. This means I can keep my iMac for staff that volunteer with the SandBoxBible. They don't have to use their personal computers.

I am reaching out to potential sponsors to help me buy a new iMac for the next 8 years.

PS - THE TENT IS GOING UP IN TWO WEEKS FROM NOW! Three massive trees will be coming down in the next few days (so sad). I am looking forward to what God has in store for what He has been sharing. My Bible reading this morning was 1 & 2 Timothy. Paul kept on telling him how he had to put worldly things behind him and live out his calling to teach preach and disciple the Church in his care. I felt such a great exhortation from the Holy Spirit this morning - to stay focused and that what I do is not in vain.

This whole idea started last year with Christmas, creating a space for people without families during Christmas. A donation was given and we fixed the garden and now... this is the next step. In the coming months, we will be inviting the Church and YWAM OUTREACH TEAMS to join us with this outreach here in Stilbaai during Christmas. Please keep this specifically in your prayers. Thanks
